About Us

St. John is a member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod (LCMS*).

We believe there is only one true God. Only one spiritual path leads to heaven, and that path passes through the God of the Bible, who has revealed himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  St. John Lutheran Church is a church of the Reformation. We belong to the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. Together with the church of all ages, the church of the Reformation holds to the three historic, scriptural statements of faith called the Ecumenical Creeds. These are the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed. The Apostles’ Creed is the most ancient and succinctly describes the Christian Faith once for all delivered to God’s saints.

A traditional worship service is what you can expect on most Saturdays and Sundays, including liturgy and traditional hymns with organ accompaniment, choir anthems, and communion.
