Announcements
Pasta Dinner - Join Meriden Scout Troop 43 on May 1 from 5-7 pm for a Pasta Dinner! The event is $10 per person (under age 5 is free). Bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the local food pantry.
Sunday Bible Study - Join us for a study in St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians, Sunday mornings at 9 am in April. Although Paul wrote to the churches around Ephesus while in prison, these words still apply to God's church today.
Ladies Book Studies - If any ladies are interested, please join our 9:30 am Thursday or 3 pm Saturday book studies. Check in with Wendy MacDonald for more information/questions.
Bingo - Join us on Sat May 9 2:30-4:45pm for a fun-filled afternoon of games, community, and prizes. Everyone is welcome! Daubers will be provided. If you can bring a snack to share, add your name to the sign-up sheet. Ask anyone on the Evangelism committee if you have questions.
Special Projects - Envelopes are available in the narthex for donations towards two special projects/collections -- (1) We are planning for a parking lot repaving project to take place later this year and (2) As in the past two years, we made an annual pledge to Concordia University for their "Adopt-a-Student" program. We'd appreciate your participation in these two projects.
Save the Date for Vacation Bible School - We are planning to hold Vacation Bible School this year from Aug. 3- Aug. 7. Please let Cissy know if you can help out. If you can't be present during the week, we can still use help planning and organizing supplies, activities, and snacks.
