Growing in Grace

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

Self-help books abound on the bookstore shelves providing lots of advice for daily life. What sets God’s “book” apart from others is that he does not merely offer advice for self-help but he gives the Savior’s help! He offers it freely as well! St. Peter reminds us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is of course more than just good advice it is God’s guidance for life!

Growing and learning together is what we do as his people. Our fall schedule begins on Saturday, September 7th at 5pm with Sundays remaining at 10am. We look ahead to the beginning of our Sunday school year together with our “kick off” day being on Sunday,

September 8th. Classes begin that day for all ages at 9am. In our adult class we will begin

exploring together the letter to the Hebrews. We will meet in the lounge area. The coffee

will be on and all are welcome!

God calls us to grow as we go always feeding on his good word that strengthens for

life and faith. Let us receive that food more and more as we worship regularly and receive

his word to live in our day to day. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.

Amen!
