Grow as you go!

“Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good." -1 Peter 2:1-3, ESV

We are on a journey of faith together following our Lord who leads us into paths of his righteousness. As we travel on we are always growing while we draw near to our Savior at the Table and the Service where he feeds us. We are people who feed on the milk of his word in our worship. We also feed on this milk as we gather for Sunday School classes. The children have been meeting week to week and a sizeable group has developed! Our adult class also has had great attendance as we explore the Gospel of John. In addition to these Sunday classes a number of adults have gathered with me on Monday nights for our Information Sessions, which are held over the course of one month. Here we are exploring the basics of our Christian faith together and this study is formative for those wishing to take on membership among us! In addition to all this, the Tuesday bible study continues at 10AM with Pastor Beck leading us!

A life of growth in faith is what you and I are called to in our Christian lives. And so in order to grow in this journey of faith refreshment and nourishment will be necessary. God calls us to grow as we go always feeding on his good word that strengthens for this journey. Yes. Let us continue to long for the milk of his word and feed upon it regularly in worship, prayer and study of the Bible in our day to day. Let us grow in the Faith of Jesus Christ that he so freely gives!
