Field Trip to Brooklyn Tabernacle

Brooklyn Tabernacle is a church that was once on the verge of closing, averaging 50 people at a service. They now worship over 10,000 each weekend. Their Tuesday night prayer services are legendary.
St. John is sponsoring a trip to the prayer service on Tuesday, August 24. The cost is $36 per person for the round-trip van ride. The van will leave from St. John at approximately 3:30 P.M. and will arrive back at 10:00. There is room for 14, and ten seats are taken already, so sign up now!

Food Collection Sundays
Help out in our community.
The first Sunday of each month is Food Collection Sunday. There is a designated spot in the Information Center (next to Pastor Jim's study) for you to put your non-perishable food items throughout the month. On the first Sunday of the month, the food will be brought up to the altar to be blessed by Pastor. It will then be delivered to the various food pantries in our community. We thank you as always for your support.

Healing Services
Prayer and Anointing
The last weekend of each month, we hold a special healing service with prayer and anointing with oil. These services are held in the sanctuary immediately following the regular church service.
