The parish of Saint John Lutheran Church is a community devoted to spreading God's Love through ministries of prayer, education, music and community activities for people of all ages.
As a member of Saint John Lutheran Church, both men and women can participate in a vibrant Christian community by acting as eucharistic ministers, serving in various church committees and deepen their lives through prayer, Adult Bible Study and a variety of music ministries such as Chorister Choir and the Handbell Choir.
The Christian formation of our children is very important to us. Saint John Lutheran offers Christian Education through Sunday School and a Preschool program. Children can also participate in a fun, creative community of music, King's Kids.
Saint John's Church has an active group of Eucharistic Ministers, offers a variety of Music Ministries and Women's Ministries.
The Saint John Lutheran Preschool is known and respected throughout the Meriden-Wallingford area. Each school year, over 65 children from ages three through five are nurtured academically, spiritually, and socially.
Saint John's Church offers community activities such as Church Women United.
The parish nutures an active youth group, the Walther League, that provides a variety of worship, social, and service activities for students in grades 7 through 12. Saint John's Church also has an active Boy Scout troup.
